The City of Diamond Bar contracts with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk for election services.
Polling Places and Times

Registering to Vote
Forms are available from a number of places including Diamond Bar City Hall, the Diamond Bar Public Library, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the United States Post Office. You can also obtain a registration form by calling 1-800-345-VOTE, or online at www.lavote.net
Remember that you will need to re-register to vote if you have moved, or if your name or party affiliation has changed. In order to vote in an election, you must be registered a minimum of fifteen (15) days prior to the election date.
Voter Registration Requirements
To register to vote in the City of Diamond Bar, you must:
- be a citizen of the United States; be a legal resident of Diamond Bar;
- be at least 18 years old on or before the election date;
- not be under a court order declaring you mentally incompetent;
- and not be serving a court sentence for a felony or election law violation.
If you meet these requirements, you must be registered to vote at least one month before the election date.
Voting by Absentee Ballot
Anyone is eligible to vote by mail, but you must request an absentee ballot from your local election office no later than seven days prior to the election.
