Through My Lens Contest Deadline

(Diamond Bar, CA, October 6, 2017) – October 16 is the last day for Diamond Bar residents to enter the City’s Through My Lens community photo contest.

Through My Lens was started by the City in 2008 as a means to celebrate the various facets of Diamond Bar living and the photographic talents of community members; it is co-sponsored by the Diamond Bar Community Foundation (DBCF).

Contest categories are People, Pets, Places, Nature and Digitally-Altered; the photo must depict one of the categories within city limits. Entries in each of the two divisions – youth (17 years of age and younger) and adult (18 years of age and older) are judged separately.

Winners will be announced next month, and certificates and cash prizes will be awarded as follows: Honorable Mention: $50, First Place: $100, and Grand Prize (selected from the first-place winners): $150. Also, winning photographs will be published on the City and DBCF websites and printed publications, and may be featured in a future edition of the City’s annual Calendar and Services Guide.
